“Alone, Together Typ Berlin” (2022) is the Berlin outcome of the pre-pandemic participatory work “Alone, Together” (2018) first carried out and activated by residents in Landmark Heights, London. The following is the result of the work’s activation in a second city - Berlin - with the residents of Schwedenhaus in the Hansaviertal area. Letters are sent to the residents, openly inviting them to listen to a specific song (YouTube link is given), at a specific time on a specific night and to play with their light switches to the beat of the music, improvising in any way they wish to. The result is a visual orchestra.
